Elenydd

Elenydd is a stylish and elegant apartment on the first floor of a Victorian townhouse, conveniently located on Aberystwyth’s seafront with direct access to the mile long promenade. The light-filled, open plan living area boasts a traditional stone feature fireplace and large bay windows that instantly transport you to a relaxing seaside haven, while the modern fitted kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’ll need. The spacious bedroom has been designed with comfort in mind and the shower room features modern fixtures and fittings. You’ll find an abundance of lovely independent stores, pubs, and restaurants within a few minutes’ walk of the property.
The promenade also boasts the oldest pier in Wales, built in 1864 and offering a great vantage point over Aberystwyth. The town’s high street benefits from many independent boutique style shops with some high street names mixed in, while the nearby retail outlets offer larger named and designer shops. Moments away in the other direction is Constitution Hill, set 430 feet above the town and best accessed via the electric cliff railway. At the top of Constitution hill, a visit to the Camera Obscura is a must, offering a 360-degree view around Aberystwyth for more than 1000 square miles! It is also home to the ruins of Aberystwyth Castle and a little further away is Pen Dinas Iron Age Hill Fort. A little further afield is the classic Hinterland location of Devil’s Bridge, accessed via the Vale of Rheidol Railway.
Devils Bridge is home to some of the most stunning waterfalls and its famous bridges. Aberystwyth Arts Centre is well worth a visit, as is its neighbour the National Library of Wales, home to historic books as well as the smallest book in the world. It also hosts painting and film exhibitions, and you can sit in comfort watching archive films from across Wales. With arts, culture, great restaurants, and the beach all available locally, there is endless amounts of activities to choose from. Depending on your preferences for sight-seeing in this beautiful area, you will have luxury to return to each day at Elenydd.
