Set back from the road in the small village of Hindringham, Wren Cottage has bags of character and charm and is perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in the North Norfolk countryside. Just 6 miles from beautiful Blakeney, with its highly photographed quay, you can head east or west from here to enjoy the plethora of seaside towns and villages offering wide sandy and shingle beaches, marshes and quays. Make time to do a spot of crabbing at Blakeney or take the single gauge railway to the gorgeous beach at Wells-next-to-Sea and see the array of brightly coloured beach huts. Take a visit to the bustling market towns of Sheringham and Cromer where you will find great beaches, a steam railway, a variety of museums and attractions, cinema, zoo and, of course, Cromer Pier. You can also be in the Norfolk Broads in under 50 minutes where you can float along the famous waterways and watch the world drift by. Close by, Fakenham offers a day at the races, and Holt is just perfect for pottering around, enjoying its host of artisan shops, cafés and restaurants. All in all, this is the perfect location however you like to spend your holidays, and you’re sure to have a great night’s sleep when you return to Wren Cottage after a busy day of sightseeing.
