Brick Cottage
This attractive, semi-detached, spacious cottage is situated on the edge of ancient woodland, leading down to a series of lakes in the small village of Bawsey, 4 miles to the west of King’s Lynn. Brick Cottage is ideally located, making it the perfect property for walkers, nature lovers and families holidaying with their dog.
Brick Cottage is beautifully maintained and equipped to ensure guests have everything they need for a great stay. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, making it ideal for the less mobile. The fully enclosed garden sides onto the wonderful woodland beyond, and the hot tub offers the perfect place to relax in at the end of a day out exploring the local area.
The property boasts excellent woodland walks from your doorstep, and it is just a short drive from the vibrant market town of King’s Lynn. Visitors to the town can enjoy The Mart, an annual fair which visits for two weeks each February, and Festival Too, a free music festival held yearly in June and July. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the town along with many shops and supermarkets for all your day-to-day needs. Other attractions include True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum, which offers a look back at the town’s rich and fascinating maritime heritage, and the iconic 17th-century Custom House, which overlooks the site of the town’s medieval harbour.
Beach lovers can be at the stunning Norfolk coast in less than half an hour. Why not take a drive around the North Norfolk coastal road, and discover a string of pretty villages, marshes and beaches. There are artisan shops and lots of fantastic places to eat, many of them specialising in fresh, local produce.
Numerous stately homes and National Trust sites are within easy reach, including The Royal Sandringham Estate, Oxburgh Hall, Peckover House and Gardens, The Blickling Estate and Holkham Hall. Bird and wildlife lovers are spoilt for choice with Cley Marshes, Pensthorpe Natural Park, Titchwell, Blakeney and Holkham Nature Reserve. Beach 11 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
