Cobble Cottage provides light, airy and contemporary accommodation that offers the perfect place to relax and unwind after day exploring this fantastic part of Norfolk. Just 20 minutes’ from the stunning north Norfolk coastline you will find yourself exploring the area’s sand and shingle beaches, clay and salt marshes, rolling sand dunes and picturesque quays. Head to Hunstanton, known as ’Sunny Hunny’ by the locals as it really does seem to have something of a micro-climate. Here you will find lots of traditional seaside attractions including a small funfair, a Sealife Centre and even seasonal boat trips out to see the seals.
Stroll along the sand dunes at Heacham and then head to Wells-next-the-Sea, making sure you take the time to stop and explore the pretty coastal villages on the way, many of which offer great little places to eat, drink and shop. Once in Wells you can sit on the quayside and watch the boats bobbing on the tide, providing the perfect background for all your holiday selfies. History buffs will not be disappointed either with Castle Acre, the Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Estates, Peckover House and the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn all within easy reach. Wildlife lovers will enjoy a trip to RSPB Snettisham and Welney Wetlands and if all that sightseeing and sea air has worked up an appetite then you will be delighted to find lots of choice when it comes to places to dine, many of which use local produce.
Then, after a fun-packed day, you can return to Cobble Cottage and relax in the lovely living room or maybe raise a glass of something in the enclosed garden. Either way, you will be sure of a great night’s sleep. Beach 13 miles.
