Llanina Cottage lies in the convenient location of Llanarth on the main A487 coast road between the seaside towns of Aberystwyth and Cardigan. This comfortable holiday home, offering separate living and dining space and a small enclosed garden to enjoy a barbecue, is a really convenient base for exploring all that this wonderful part of Wales has to offer. Also on the doorstep are a handy shop and garage, and the pub and restaurant. The beautiful long sandy beach of Cei Bach is just two miles away. Visit the pretty seaside town of New Quay, a mile further on, with a good selection of shops, cafés and restaurants, and where you can enjoy boat trips or spotting dolphins from the harbour wall whilst enjoying fish and chips or an ice cream. New Quay and the area was such an inspiration to poet Dylan Thomas when he lived here, and it’s easy to see why.
Ceredigion is one of Wales most popular holiday areas. Named after Prince Ceredig, Ceredigion is sheltered from the east by the Cambrian Mountains and stretches to the shores of Cardigan Bay. If walking is what you’re after, this vast sweeping crescent of bay forms a very special part of the Wales Coast Path. The sixty miles of path has the most varied landscape and spectacular views and is never busy or overrun with tourists. Visit the sandy coves of Llangrannog, Cwmtydu, Tresaith and Penbryn and take a break at the many pubs and cafés along the way; many of the beaches are dog friendly all year round. The seaside towns of Aberystwyth, Aberaeron and Cardigan are all within easy reach and well worth a visit with iconic harbours and castles. Shop, pub and restaurant 15 yards.
