Cart House Barn
Cart House Barn is near Bridgnorth, in the Shropshire countryside. It's a single-storey barn conversion, so everything's on the ground floor. That makes it straightforward to get around. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and sitting area all in one space. There's a TV and WiFi. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have a dog or children. It's lawned with a patio and some furniture.
It's on a working farm, so you'll see animals around. You can hear typical farm noises sometimes. The owners live on site if you need anything.
Bridgnorth is about six miles away. It's a market town split into a High Town and a Low Town. There's a cliff railway that connects them. Nice for a wander and a coffee.
Within about half an hour's drive you've got a few options. Ironbridge Gorge is the big one for history. The Ironbridge Gorge Museums are worth a visit. The Severn Valley Railway is good if you like steam trains. For a day out, the West Midland Safari Park is that way too.
For walks, the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is close. The Shropshire Hills website has route ideas. The Wyre Forest is also nearby.
