Waterfall Lodge

It’s called Waterfall Lodge. It’s a single-storey, detached lodge on a private holiday park near Bridgnorth. The park is quiet, mostly pine woodland. You can hear the waterfall from the decking.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one shower room. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s nicely done. Everything is on the ground floor, no stairs.

The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining area, living area. There’s a dishwasher, washing machine, and a TV. The front decking is a good size with a table and chairs.

The park is adults-only, so no children under 15. No pets either. Parking for three cars right outside.

Bridgnorth is about ten minutes away by car. It’s a nice town to wander around. The Severn Valley Railway is there if you like heritage steam trains. You can get the train to Bewdley or Kidderminster.

The Shropshire Hills start just to the south. The Clee Hills are about a 25 minute drive. There’s a good network of footpaths. For a proper day out, the Shropshire Hills AONB website has maps and ideas.

Further afield, you can get to Ludlow in about 40 minutes. That’s a good spot for food. Ironbridge Gorge is about half an hour’s drive, all the museums are there. English Heritage runs some of them.

Facilities are all as listed. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there but it’s a rural park, so it’s functional.
