The Moorgate Loft
The Moorgate Loft. It's a one-bedroom apartment for two people, up on the second floor of an old building in the middle of Bridgnorth. It’s got a 4 Star rating.
It's all one open space – the bed, kitchenette and sitting area are together. The shower room is ensuite. It's done up simply in light colours, so it feels bright. You can see the main street from the windows.
Because it's in the centre, you're right there for the pubs, cafes and the little shops. It can be noisy during the day, but it's quiet at night. The stairs up to it are the original building stairs, so they're a bit narrow and winding.
Facilities: there's a TV, wifi, a washing machine, and all bedding and towels are included. The electricity is part of the rent.
For days out, Ironbridge is about twenty minutes' drive. The National Trust's Attingham Park is nearby too. If you head towards Wolverhampton, the Lickey Hills are good for a walk. Birmingham is about an hour if you want a city trip.
