The Classroom
The Classroom is in Bourton, which is a small village. It's a converted primary school classroom. You can still see some of the old school features, like the high windows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped. The place is all on one level, which is useful. The doorways are wide and there are no steps at the entrance.
There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a private hot tub. We leave instructions for it. There's also a barbecue and somewhere to put bikes.
Inside, it's open plan. Kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, then the living area. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's WiFi and parking right outside.
It's quiet here. You're basically in the fields. For a pub or a shop, you'll need to drive. Church Stretton and the Long Mynd are about a 15 minute drive for walking. Shrewsbury is maybe 25 minutes. Ludlow is about half an hour, that's where you get the good restaurants and the castle.
For local history, Attingham Park is near Shrewsbury and Haughmond Abbey is a ruin not far from there.
