The Summer House
The Summer House is in Easthope, near Church Stretton. It's detached, so you're on your own in the garden. The main thing is the view. You look straight out at Wenlock Edge.
It sleeps four, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. Because it's a bungalow, everything's on the ground floor. No stairs.
The garden is large and enclosed. There's a patio, a barbecue, and bike storage if you need it. Inside, it's open plan. There's a woodburning stove for colder nights, a TV, and WiFi. All the bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
You're quite remote here. The nearest shop is about four miles away in Much Wenlock. There's a pub three miles away, and a restaurant about a mile and a half down the road.
It's a good spot for walking or cycling on Wenlock Edge. For a longer drive, Church Stretton is in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can get to Ironbridge in under half an hour for the museums. Shrewsbury is about a 25 minute drive.
