Rosedale

This is Rosedale, here in Falkland, Fife. It's a four-bedroom house that sleeps up to seven. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. Everything works and it's kept clean.

The house is on a normal village street. You have your own garden with a hot tub at the back. Inside, the main living room is upstairs to get a better view. It looks out towards the Lomond Hills.

Falkland itself is small. Falkland Palace is a five-minute walk. It's worth a look. The village has a couple of shops and some pubs. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Cupar or Glenrothes.

For getting outside, you're right on the edge of the Lomond Hills. You can walk or cycle from the door. The Loch Leven Heritage Trail is about a 15-minute drive, it's a flat path all around the loch. The coast is maybe 25 minutes east.

St Andrews is about half an hour's drive. You've got the town, the university, and the golf. Perth and Dundee are also within that 30-minute range if you need a city for the day.

In the house, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's parking on the driveway. No pets, sorry.

If you're planning walks or days out, the National Trust for Scotland site is useful, and so is Lomond Hills Regional Park.
