Beech Cottage
Beech Cottage is in Folly Gate, Devon. It's a converted barn, upside down so the bedroom's on the ground floor. Sleeps two, one bedroom with a king size bed and an ensuite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living area is upstairs. It's open plan: kitchen, dining, sitting area all in one room. There are doors from the bedroom straight out to a patio at the back. There's another courtyard area at the front. Both have garden furniture.
It's on the Tarka Trail, which is a cycle route. You can walk into Abbeyford Woods from the cottage. It's a dark spot, good for seeing the stars at night.
The nearest pub is about a mile away. For a bigger shop, Okehampton is the nearest town. You're right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Okehampton Castle is there if you like old ruins.
If you want to go to the coast, Bude and Westward Ho! are both about half an hour's drive. For a walk, Lydford Gorge is nearby, or Castle Drogo.
Facilities include parking, wifi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can have a cot or highchair if you need one. No pets.
There are two other cottages next to it, Lavender and Bumblebee. You can book them together if you're in a bigger group.
