Peartree Cottage Ashbury

Peartree Cottage is attached to our house here in Ashbury. It's separate, you've got your own front door and everything. We're on about two acres of land, so it's proper countryside. Quiet.

The cottage is for four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star Gold rating, which means it's comfortable and well kept. Everything works.

You get your own fenced garden with a patio, and a gate leads into the wildflower meadow which you can walk in. There's a wildlife pond on the land, but it's fenced off for safety.

You're a couple of miles from the nearest shop and pub. You'll need a car. Okehampton is close, that's your main town for supermarkets and things. The train station there is open again now, so you can get to Exeter.

You're right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park for walking. The north coast, places like Bude and Boscastle, are about half an hour's drive. Lydford Gorge is nearby, and so are other National Trust places like Castle Drogo.

Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler nights, a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We allow up to two dogs. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
