Little Fern Meldon

Little Fern is on our farm in Meldon. It's a ground floor annexe attached to our house, so we're next door if you need anything. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.

It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean, warm, and everything works, but it's not a show home. The kitchen has what you need: an oven, a slimline dishwasher, a fridge with a small freezer box, and a microwave. The living area is open plan with the kitchen. There's a sofa, a Smart TV, and an electric stove that looks like a wood burner.

The bedroom has a king-size bed. The bathroom is en-suite with a shower cubicle. The door from the living room opens to your own enclosed garden. There's a little bistro set out there. It gets the sun in the morning.

You're on a working farm. You'll hear farm noises and see animals. The location is quiet, but you're only about ten minutes by car from Okehampton. They've got supermarkets, a few pubs, shops, and a leisure centre. There's a train station there with services to Exeter.

You're right on the edge of Dartmoor. It's a few minutes in the car to get into the park. For walking, the Granite Way and the Two Castles Trail are close. Meldon Reservoir is nearby. Lydford Gorge is about a 20-minute drive.

The north coast, places like Bude or Woolacombe, is roughly 45 minutes to an hour away. Cornwall is accessible, the Eden Project is about an hour's drive.

Facilities are all there. WiFi, parking, bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The garden is enclosed.
