The Farm House Corscombe

The Farm House is in Corscombe, on the edge of Dartmoor. It's one of three cottages on the same farm site. You're about two miles from Belstone village.

It's a semi-detached, Grade II listed place, partly thatched. It sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's more comfortable than fancy.

The kitchen is a galley kitchen, so it's compact but it has what you need. There's a local shop about a mile away. The stairs are normal. The floors upstairs are sanded wood, so they can be a bit creaky.

Outside, you have your own garden seating area. There's a shared outdoor swimming pool and sauna on the farm. Those are available for guests to use between Whitsun and September, from half nine in the morning until six.

The farm has acres of land you can walk on, with a stream and woods. You might see deer in the meadow. There's an outdoor camp kitchen with a barbecue and a stone fire pit in a glade that all the cottage guests can use.

Belstone is less than two miles away, it has a pub and a tearoom. Sticklepath is nearby and does good pub food. Okehampton is about a ten minute drive. It has a castle, an arcade, and some shops. For walking or cycling, you're right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.

Facilities: parking for three cars, WiFi, TV, wood burner, dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. There is no pet allowance.
