Exbourne has a pub that does food and a local shop. Both are about five minutes walk. There's a kids' playpark close by too.
You're right on the edge of the village, so you get the quiet but you can walk to the pub.
Dartmoor National Park is about six miles east. Meldon Reservoir is eight miles away for walks or fishing. Okehampton is the nearest proper town, about four miles. They've got supermarkets, a cinema, and a castle. Tavistock is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes drive.
The Tarka Trail for walking and cycling is nearby. The north coast, for beaches, is about an hour's drive. The south coast is a bit further.
Facilities wise: there's parking, a garden and patio, a BBQ, a washing machine and dishwasher. WiFi and TV. We include bedding and towels. It's family friendly, we've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs.
