Green Castle
Green Castle is in Llangain, just outside Carmarthen. It's a detached cottage.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The main things are the space and the views. You've got two living rooms, both with wood burners. The kitchen is decent for cooking.
The garden out the back is where you'll spend time. There's a hot tub. And right there in the garden are the remains of an old castle, Castell Moel. It's just part of the garden, you can walk around it. The view overlooks the River Towy.
Carmarthen town is about ten minutes by car. It's the oldest town in Wales. Shops, cafes, a castle. For a good day out, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is about 20 minutes away. Kidwelly Castle is about half an hour. The coast at Pendine Sands is a 25 minute drive.
The Brecon Beacons National Park is just over an hour's drive if you want proper mountains.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring up to two dogs.
