Old Barn 2
This is Old Barn 2 in Ferndown. It’s a converted barn on a stable yard, so you’ll see horses. You get your own garden and a hot tub.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It’s a 4 Star place, so it’s comfortable and well done-up. The rooms have themed wallpaper, which is a bit different.
Inside, there’s an open plan living area with a wood burner. It’s got a record player with a stack of old vinyl. There are books and board games too.
Outside, there’s a shared games room with table football and table tennis. There’s also a shared spot with outdoor games like boules and a big chess set. There’s a playhouse and slide for kids.
The property is right on the Castleman Trailway. You can walk or cycle straight onto it. It’s about a mile and a half to the nearest shop. There’s a pub and a Chinese restaurant you can walk to along the trail.
For days out, you’re about half an hour from the coast. Bournemouth and Poole beaches are 10 miles. The National Trust has several places nearby like Kingston Lacy. The Jurassic Coast and the Cranborne Chase area are within a 30 minute drive.
Facilities: parking, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bedding and towels included. You can bring two dogs. They don’t allow fireworks because of the livestock and horses.
