Old Barn 1
Old Barn 1 is in Ferndown, Dorset. It's a converted barn on a site with a few other properties and some horse stables. You get your own garden and a hot tub.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-finished. The owners have put in things like a record player with a stack of old vinyl, and board games.
There's a shared games room with table football and table tennis. Outside, there's a play area for kids with a slide and a playhouse, and things like boules and badminton for everyone. If you're bringing horses, you can arrange stabling with the owner directly.
The property is right on the Castleman Trailway, which is good for walks or cycles on a gravel track. One route goes to a pub and a golf course. For a bigger walk, you're not far from the Kingston Lacy Estate or Brownsea Island.
The coast is about a 30-minute drive. Bournemouth and Poole have sandy beaches. The Jurassic Coast is a bit further, but worth the trip if you want proper cliffs and scenery.
Local towns like Wimborne have shops, cafes, and a model village. It's about three miles away.
Facilities: there's a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. Please don't set off any fireworks because of the horses and livestock nearby.
