The Stables is in Whitmore, a small hamlet just outside Winkton. It's detached. You used to keep horses in it. Now it's a cottage.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One's a king, one's a double. Both are en-suite, so it works for two couples. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-finished.
Downstairs is all one open space. Kitchen, dining, living. The doors open out onto a terrace with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
You can bring two dogs. They're allowed downstairs and on the terrace, but not in the bedrooms. There's parking for two cars and an electric car charger.
The location is quiet. You're on the edge of the New Forest, so you'll see ponies. Good walking straight from the door. The Cranborne Chase is a few miles north. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a Dark Sky Reserve, if you're into that.
It's about a twenty-minute drive to the coast. Christchurch has the harbour and a beach. Bournemouth's a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes. Salisbury is half an hour for the cathedral and market. Old Sarum is up that way too, if you like ruins.
Facilities: everything's included, WiFi, bedding, towels. There's a TV, washing machine. The garden is enclosed. No neighbours to worry about.
