Ayton Cottage is in Langbaurgh, North Yorkshire. It's the old coach house for Ayton Hall, the big Georgian manor house next door. You have your own entrance.
The whole place is on the first floor, you go straight upstairs to get in. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable, not luxury.
The kitchen is small and it's painted a strong pea green. It works fine. The living area is all open plan, with a wood burner. Two steps lead up from the kitchen to the sofa area.
It's a rural spot. You can walk from the door straight onto the footpaths. The village of Great Ayton is a mile away. It has shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs. It's where Captain Cook grew up.
Roseberry Topping is about ten minutes' drive. It's a good walk with a proper view from the top. Guisborough Priory is also close. The coast is half an hour away. Saltburn has the pier and the cliff lift. Staithes and Runswick Bay are classic fishing villages.
It's dog friendly, up to two. There's parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. The electricity is covered, and there's a TV and the wood burner.
