Birchwood House Studio
Birchwood House Studio is a self-contained place behind the main house in Corbridge. It's private, but you're two minutes from the shops and pubs in the village. The front door is just off the road, under some trees.
It's a studio, so the living, sleeping, and kitchen areas are all in one room. There's a super king size bed. The kitchen is proper, with a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a TV, a flame effect electric fire, and the bathroom has a shower over the bath.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern, and comfortable. You can bring one dog.
Corbridge itself is nice. It's an old Roman town with good pubs, a couple of places to eat, and a few independent shops. Hadrian's Wall is right on your doorstep for walks. Hexham is about ten minutes away by car for the abbey and a bigger supermarket.
If you want to drive out, you can get to the Northumberland coast in under half an hour. That's places like Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh, and Holy Island. The Northumberland National Park is close for more walking. For general planning, Visit Northumberland is useful.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, parking, and wifi. There's a seat outside the front door. That's about it.
