The Old Stables 2
The Old Stables 2 is in Shipton under Wychwood, on the edge of the village. It's a converted stable, sleeps two in one bedroom. We finished the conversion in 2024, so everything is new.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. There are some steps down from the main living area to the bedroom, just so you know.
You have your own enclosed garden. It faces south, so it gets the sun. There's parking right outside, and an electric vehicle charger.
The village has a shop and a couple of pubs. They're a short walk away. It's a working farm around you, so you'll see sheep and hear tractors sometimes.
You're right in the Cotswolds. Burford is about ten minutes by car. Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are within twenty minutes. For a bigger day out, Blenheim Palace in Woodstock is roughly half an hour's drive. The National Trust has several properties nearby if that's your sort of thing.
Inside, there's a kingsize bed, a bathroom with a shower, a living area, and a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. Towels and bedding are included. We allow up to two dogs.
