The Old Dairy
The Old Dairy is on our farm near Shipton under Wychwood. It’s a detached stone building we converted a few years ago. It sleeps six over two bedrooms, though one bedroom has bunk beds. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one down.
You’re on a working farm. There are sheep and cattle in the fields around you. You will hear farm noise, especially in the morning. The main living room doors open onto a small terrace. There’s another patio area off the kitchen that gets the sun in the evening.
The kitchen is open plan. It has the beams you’d expect. It’s well equipped for cooking. There’s a washing machine and towels are included. We’ve got an electric vehicle charger on site.
For local walks, you can head straight out from the cottage. The Wychwood area is good for that. The nearest pub is in Shipton under Wychwood, about a ten minute walk.
You’re right in the middle of the Cotswolds. Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bourton-on-the-Water are all about a 20 minute drive away. They have the shops and tea rooms. For a bigger day out, Oxford is roughly 40 minutes by car. Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon are about the same.
We allow up to two dogs. There’s bicycle storage if you need it. The property has a 4 Star rating, which reflects it being a newer conversion with things like the EV charger.
