The Old Dairy
The Old Dairy is here in Shipton under Wychwood. It's a detached cottage, so no neighbours on the other side of the walls. It's on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and cattle in the fields around. There's an electric vehicle charger by the parking space.
It sleeps six but only has two bedrooms. One is downstairs with a bathroom next to it. The other bedroom is upstairs, it's quite big and has its own shower room. The stairs are a standard flight, no surprises. The place is rated 4 Star. It's new and clean, with things like underfloor heating.
You get two terraces. One off the kitchen gets the evening sun. The other is off the living room, good for morning coffee. The garden is yours to use. It's not huge but it's private.
There's a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
Shipton has a shop, a couple of pubs, and a train station with direct lines to Oxford. It's a quiet village. For a bigger shop, Chipping Norton is about four miles away.
You're right in the Cotswolds. Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bourton-on-the-Water are all within a twenty minute drive. Blenheim Palace is about half an hour away.
