Sambucus
Sambucus is a treehouse on a small retreat in Finstock, which is in Oxfordshire near Witney. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, with a shower room on each floor. It's got a five-star rating, which means it's modern and very well finished.
The main thing to know is that it's modern inside, not log-cabin rustic. It's open plan downstairs with big glass doors that open onto the deck. There's a wood burner. The windows look out into the trees. It feels very private.
There's a shared yoga deck on the site, which you're welcome to use.
For facilities, there's parking right by the treehouse, WiFi, bedding and towels are included, and there's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
The village of Finstock has a pub and a shop. The National Trust has several properties nearby, like Buscot Park.
You're about half an hour's drive from Oxford. Blenheim Palace is also about half an hour away. For walks, you're close to the Wychwood Forest area.
