The Studio Long Hanborough

The Studio is attached to our house in Long Hanborough. It’s basically a decent one-bedroom flat for two people. It’s got a 4 Star rating.

You’ve got your own front door. The garden outside is for you to use, with a table and chairs. Inside, everything’s on one level, which is handy. The bed’s in a separate bedroom. The shower room is en-suite. There’s a washing machine. WiFi is included. Parking is right outside.

The pub next door is friendly. The train station is a five-minute walk away. You can be in Oxford in about seven minutes on the train, which is easier than driving in. There’s a shop about half a mile away.

Blenheim Palace is two miles down the road. You can walk the grounds or go inside. Blenheim Palace has events on through the year. Churchill is buried in the church at Bladon, which is the next village along.

There are good walks from the door, along the Glyme and Windrush valleys. Woodstock is three miles away for cafes and shops. Witney is about eight miles for a bigger town. Bicester Village, the outlet shopping place, is about a twenty-minute drive.

For other days out, the National Trust has a few local properties. The Cotswolds National Landscape website has walking ideas.
