Bastard Balm
Bastard Balm is a treehouse in a field in Finstock. It's one of a few different places on the same site. It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well finished.
It's a modern build made to look a bit space-age inside. Lots of wood and big windows. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The main doors are floor to ceiling glass, so you get a good view of the trees.
It's glamping, so expect that level of comfort. You've got proper walls and a bed, but it's all in one open space apart from the bathroom. There's heating, WiFi, and parking right by it. Bedding and towels are included.
Finstock itself is a small village. There's a shop and a pub. The pub does food.
You're about a twenty minute drive from Oxford. The city centre is good for a day out, museums, the Bodleian, that sort of thing. Oxford Botanic Garden is there if you're interested. For walks, Blenheim Palace grounds are nearby, or you can drive out to the Chilterns which is about half an hour.
