Picket Piece Cottage
This is Picket Piece Cottage, in Chadlington. It's a Grade II listed cottage attached to our farmhouse. You're on a farm, so you'll see the comings and goings, but the garden is private.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, which is accurate. It's clean and comfortable, but it's an old cottage. It's got beams, a woodburner, and there's an old bread oven in the wall. It's just there, doesn't work.
The stairs are steep, like most old cottages.
There's a shop and a pub about five minutes' walk away. The pub serves food.
You're well placed here. Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bourton-on-the-Water are all about a twenty minute drive. Oxford is about thirty minutes. Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham are maybe forty-five minutes if the traffic's alright.
If you like walking, the Wychwood area is on the doorstep. For a proper big day out, Buscot Old Parsonage and Blenheim Palace aren't far.
Facilities: parking right outside, wifi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot in the main bedroom if you need it. No pets, sorry.
