Picket Piece Cottage is in Chadlington. It's attached to the main farmhouse where we live. It's Grade II listed. You can't miss the beams and there's an old bread oven in the living room wall. It doesn't work, it's just part of the building.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place. That means it's clean and comfortable but not posh. The stairs are quite steep, as you'd expect in an old cottage. The garden is yours to use. It gets the afternoon sun.
There's a shop and a pub about five minutes' walk away. The pub does food. For a bigger shop, Chipping Norton is about three miles.
You're right in the Cotswolds here. Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are all within about twenty minutes' drive. Oxford is about half an hour away if you fancy a day out there. For local walks, you've got the Oxfordshire Cotswolds on your doorstep. The National Trust has a lot of houses and gardens nearby, like Chastleton House which is very close.
Inside, you've got a woodburning stove for the colder months. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. No pets, I'm afraid.
