Jubliee Cottage Enstone

This is Jubilee Cottage. It's in Church Enstone, the quieter part of the village. The cottage was built in the late 1800s. You get the whole thing and the garden to yourselves.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. It's a traditional cottage, so the ceilings are low in a couple of places if you're tall.

The garden is proper big. It gets the sun most of the day. There's a patio with a table.

The facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, a TV, a woodburner for colder nights. Bedding and towels are included. You can park on the drive.

We allow one well-behaved dog. You need to mention it when you book.

The pub is about a hundred yards up the road. It's good for a pint and does food. The village shop is three quarters of a mile away.

For a bigger shop, Chipping Norton is five miles away. It's a proper market town. Oxford, Banbury, and Stratford-upon-Avon are all within a 30 minute drive if you want a day out.

It's a good base for walking and cycling. The Cotswolds footpaths start pretty much on the doorstep. For historic houses and gardens, National Trust Oxfordshire & Gloucestershire has details of places like Chastleton House which is very close.
