The House On The Green Chipping Norton

The House On The Green is in Chipping Norton, right on the edge of town. It's an end-of-terrace house on three floors. The green it's on is private, just for the houses here. It's lined with old chestnut trees. It feels quiet and leafy, but you can walk into the town centre in a few minutes.

It sleeps six people in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The owner has used nice linens and fabrics. Because it's on a hill, some rooms have views out across the Cotswolds.

Being three storeys, the stairs are a feature. They're fine, but there are a few flights of them.

A shop is about 200 yards away, and a pub is about 250 yards. You won't need the car for basics. Chipping Norton itself has the usual Cotswold town stuff: a few nice pubs, some independent shops, a theatre.

You're properly in the Cotswolds here. For a good day out, Blenheim Palace in Woodstock is about half an hour's drive. Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold are closer, maybe 20 minutes. For a longer walk, the National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Chastleton House.

What's here: the garden is enclosed, there's parking on site, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
