The Old Stables is exactly what it sounds like. It's a converted stable on our small farm. It's on the edge of Swerford, which is a quiet little village. You get your own bit of patio with the hot tub.
It's all on one level, which is handy. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner in the living area. The bed is a good one. The shower is powerful.
We live and work on the farm here too, but it's separate. You'll have your privacy. We've got goats, alpacas, and a pony. If you're into crafts, my wife runs a studio on-site and you can book a workshop.
The village itself is mainly houses and a nice old church. There's some good walking right from the door. There's a pub about a mile away in Hook Norton, which is also where the brewery and a decent village shop are.
Chipping Norton is ten minutes away by car for more shops and places to eat. You're right on the edge of the Cotswolds. Stow, Bourton-on-the-Water, all those classic places, are an easy drive.
For a proper day out, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Blenheim Palace in Woodstock are all within reasonable driving distance. Banbury is about fifteen minutes.
The place is modern inside. It's got the things you'd expect: WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, washing machine. Towels and bedding are included. Parking is right outside. No pets, sorry.
