Wells Cottage
This is Wells Cottage in Hook Norton. It's a three-storey cottage from the early 1800s, but it's been done up inside. You get the whole place, plus the garden. The garden is a good size, which you don't always get in the village. It looks out over the rooftops.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not just a basic box.
You're right in the village. There's a shop and a couple of pubs about 200 yards away. The famous Hook Norton Brewery is here. You can tour it or just go to the pub. The Hook Norton Brewery site has the details.
It's a good spot for getting out. Chipping Norton is a few minutes drive one way, Banbury the other. Stow, Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton-in-Marsh are all within half an hour. Oxford is about 40 minutes. Blenheim Palace is maybe 25 minutes. Stratford-upon-Avon is under an hour.
