South View Cottage Dean

South View Cottage is in Dean, which is in Oxfordshire near the Cotswolds. It's part of a bigger house, but you have your own entrance and garden. It overlooks the fields to the south, which is how it got its name.

It sleeps five people and has two bedrooms. One is a double, the other is a triple bunk room with a single bed on top and a double below. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs.

The cottage is on a quiet lane. You're surrounded by fields. There are footpaths and bridleways right from the door, so you can start walking without driving anywhere. You can get to Chadlington on foot in under an hour if you want a pint.

For shops, Chipping Norton is the nearest proper town, about a ten-minute drive. They've got supermarkets, cafes, and a few shops. There's a pub and a restaurant about three miles away.

If you want to explore, Blenheim Palace is about a twenty-minute drive. The Cotswold Wildlife Park is similar. For a longer trip, Oxford takes around forty minutes. It's good if you want museums or to wander the colleges.

Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can park on the drive.

You can bring up to two dogs. With the garden being enclosed and all the walks nearby, it suits them.
