Grooms Cottage Kingham

Grooms Cottage is in Kingham. It's a one bedroom cottage that sleeps two. It's attached to a larger house but is completely private.

Everything's on the ground floor, which makes it easy. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance. There's a gravel parking area right outside.

The main room is a kitchen and sitting area. The window goes floor to ceiling so it's bright. They call it a luxury property, which it is compared to a lot of places, but it's still just a nice cottage. It's clean and comfortable. There's a super king-sized bed. Bathroom has a shower.

Outside is a small, enclosed courtyard garden. There's a table and chairs and a barbecue.

You can bring two dogs. They leave a welcome hamper with local things like eggs.

Kingham itself has a couple of good pubs. The train station is here too, which is useful.

You're about a 15 minute drive from Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Morton-in-Marsh. They get busy but they're nice to look around. For walks, you can start right from the door. The National Trust Cotswolds page has good information.

Further out, within about half an hour, you've got places like Chipping Norton, Burford, and the Soho Farmhouse estate if you want that. Daylesford Organic Farm is near Kingham.

It's got WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. All the utilities are included in the price.
