Primrose Cottage
Primrose Cottage is in Little Rissington. It's a detached cottage, end of a row. Quiet spot, on the edge of the village. The garden's enclosed, gets the sun in the afternoon.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. One bedroom has its own shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-looked after. Everything works.
Bourton-on-the-Water is a mile down the road. You can walk it if you don't mind a bit of a hill coming back. That's where the main shops and cafes are. They've got the Model Village and Birdland there.
It's a good base for the area. Stow-on-the-Wold is about four miles. Moreton-in-Marsh is about twenty minutes by car, good for the railway station. Cheltenham is roughly half an hour. Gloucester with the cathedral is about forty minutes.
Lots of National Trust places nearby if that's your thing. Snowshill Manor is close. Hidcote gardens are a short drive.
For walks, you can start from the door. Fields and footpaths. The Cotswolds National Landscape website has maps. National Trust Gloucestershire lists the houses and gardens.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher and washing machine, WiFi, a TV, parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are provided. Sorry, no pets.
