Alderley House is about a ten minute walk from the centre of Bourton on the Water. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. The garden is fully enclosed.
It sleeps ten people, which is a lot. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom or shower room. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable. Everything's on one level except for one bedroom, which is up a small set of stairs. There's parking for three cars on the gravel drive.
You can walk to the village. There's a shop, a few pubs that do food, and places to hire bikes if you want them. Bourton itself is very pretty, with the river running through. It gets busy in summer. The Model Village, Birdland and the Motor Museum are all here in the village.
For a good day out, you can drive to Hidcote or Kiftsgate Court gardens. Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh are close for other shops and cafes. You can get to Cheltenham, Cirencester, or Stratford upon Avon in under forty minutes if you want to go further.
The house has a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a BBQ. There's a cot and a highchair. WiFi is included. You can bring up to two dogs.
