Herons Nest
Herons Nest is a one-bedroom flat above the main house. It sleeps two. We've had it rated as a 4 Star, so it's comfortable. You get your own private balcony that looks out over our lake. It's a nice spot to sit with a drink.
The flat is all on one floor. The living area is open plan with big windows so you get the view. There's a decent sized double bedroom and a separate shower room.
You're on our grounds, so it's quiet here. But it's only about a ten minute walk into Bourton-on-the-Water itself. You can get to the river and the shops and pubs from there easily.
It's a good base for the Cotswolds. Stow-on-the-Wold is about ten minutes by car. Moreton-in-Marsh is fifteen. Cheltenham is roughly half an hour if you want a bigger town. Oxford is under an hour for a day trip.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside the flat. Bedding and towels are included. There's a dishwasher, TV, and wifi.
Just to be clear, the lake is there for the view. There's no fishing allowed.
