This is Herons Nest. It's an apartment on the first floor, in Bourton on the Water. You're on the owner's grounds, so it's quiet. There's a lake, which the balcony looks right over. The view from the windows is the main thing.
It's a four star place, which is good. It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. The living space is all open plan so it feels roomy enough. You can bring one dog.
You're about a ten minute walk from the village centre. There are pubs and shops by the river there. The local pub is about a mile away.
From here you can get to a lot of the other Cotswold villages within half an hour by car. Stow-on-the-Wold, Lower Slaughter, that sort of thing. Cheltenham is about the same drive if you want a bigger town. Oxford takes about an hour.
There is a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. The electricity is part of the price. Just to be clear, you can't fish in the lake.
For planning days out, the Cotswolds website has good information. The National Trust looks after a lot of the nearby estates and walks.
