Patience Cottage is in Milton-under-Wychwood, a village on the western edge of Oxfordshire. It’s a two-bedroom terrace cottage. Sleeps four. The garden is at the front and it’s enclosed.
It’s got a four star rating. That means it’s comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are steep and cottagey. There’s one bathroom, which is downstairs. It has a walk-in shower.
The living room is open plan with a woodburner. The kitchen is at the back of the ground floor. It has everything you’d need. Both bedrooms are upstairs on the first floor. They’ve got beams and look out over the garden.
The village has a shop and a couple of pubs you can walk to. You get a parking space with the cottage.
If you want to explore, Blenheim Palace in Woodstock is about a twenty minute drive. The towns in the Cotswolds like Bourton-on-the-Water or Stow-on-the-Wold are roughly half an hour away. The Cotswolds National Landscape website has good walking routes.
Daylesford Farm Shop is ten minutes up the road. Jeremy Clarkson’s farm shop, Diddly Squat, is a similar distance, but be prepared for queues.
For facilities, you’ve got the woodburner, a washing machine, a BBQ, and Wi-Fi. All bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
