Patience Cottage
Patience Cottage is in Milton under Wychwood. It’s a terraced cottage down a little lane.
Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both upstairs. One bathroom, which is downstairs next to the kitchen. It’s got a 4 Star rating. Everything’s there and it's in good order. You can bring a dog.
The stairs are cottage stairs. They’re fine, but they do turn a corner and they’re a bit steep.
The open plan room is at the front. Stone walls, beams, a wood burner. The kitchen’s at the back. The garden is out the front, through the living room. It’s enclosed. There’s a table and chairs out there.
The village has a shop and a couple of pubs you can walk to. For a bigger shop, Burford is about four miles away.
You’re well placed here. Daylesford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water are all within a twenty minute drive. Blenheim Palace is about half an hour. If you want walks, The Cotswolds National Trust pages are good for ideas. The Wychwood Way path goes through the village.
Facilities: there’s parking for one car on the gravel next to the cottage. Washing machine, towels and bedding are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. The entrance is level.
