Holliers Cottage is in Middle Barton, which is a village near Chipping Norton. It's a stone cottage, semi detached. We renovated it a few years ago, so it's in good shape.
It sleeps three, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. You can usually bring one dog, but please double check when you book.
The main thing you'll notice is the fireplace. It's a big old inglenook with a wood burner. It heats the whole room well. There are French windows in the living room that look out onto the garden.
Upstairs, the landing has French doors that open onto a small balcony. There are steps from there down into the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids.
It's quiet here. The cottage is down a lane that ends at a ford. You can hear the stream. The local shop is about a ten minute walk. The pub is even closer, maybe five minutes. They do food.
For days out, Chipping Norton is about ten minutes by car. Woodstock and Blenheim Palace are maybe twenty five minutes. Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold are within half an hour. Stratford-upon-Avon is about forty minutes drive if you fancy the theatre. Oxford is around forty five minutes.
What's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car right outside. All the bedding and towels are included. The kitchen has what you'd need.
