Candlewick Cottage is in Lower Heyford. It's a one-bedroom place, just for two people. It's detached and down a quiet lane.
It's been recently renovated so everything feels fresh. There's one main room downstairs with the kitchen, a sitting area, and the bathroom. The shower is good. Upstairs is the bedroom. It's white and simple, feels light. The stairs are a spiral staircase. They're fine, but they are what they are.
Outside, there's a garden at the front with a table and chairs. You can sit out there.
The village is small and quiet. There's a pub about 200 yards away. The river and the Oxford Canal run past. You can walk along there easily. For a longer walk, you're on the Oxfordshire Way.
You're a short drive from a few things. Bicester is about six miles away. Bicester Village is there if you want that. Oxford is maybe twenty, twenty-five minutes by car. You can also get the train from Heyford station, it's in the village. That goes to Oxford and Banbury.
For a day out, Blenheim Palace is about a twenty minute drive. The Cotswolds start not too far from here.
In terms of what's there: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. No pets.
