The Barn is in Finstock, Oxfordshire. It's a 17th century stone building that's been converted. It's detached and you get the garden to yourselves. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms. One king size bedroom with its own bathroom on the first floor, and a twin bedroom up a further flight of stairs in a galleried area. There's also a separate shower room downstairs. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep and there are a few steps between different levels inside.
There are two pubs in the village within walking distance. Both serve food.
Charlbury train station is about two miles away. You can get a train to London from there. For local days out, Blenheim Palace is close by. Burford and Daylesford Organic Farm Shop are within a 30 minute drive. Bicester Village is about 40 minutes away if you want to go shopping.
For walking, you're on the edge of the Cotswolds. Wychwood Forest is right next to the village. The Cotswolds National Landscape website has good information on longer walks and other places to visit.
