Roe Deer Cottage

Roe Deer Cottage is in Onich, which is on Loch Linnhe just across from North Ballachulish. It's detached. There's a patio and garden that's just for you.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and they both have their own bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but I'd double-check the full layout if you have specific needs.

The living space is all open plan. Kitchen, dining, and sitting area together. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. TV and wifi are included. Bedding and towels are too.

You get a good view from the garden. We get roe deer in the fields sometimes.

The village has a local pub. You can get to the coast easily. For walking and climbing, Glencoe is right there. For Ben Nevis, you drive to Fort William, which is about 20 minutes. There's a cycle path that goes all the way down to Oban if you're keen, passing a few old castles.

The Glenfinnan Viaduct and the steam train are a big draw. You can board the train at Fort William, but you really do need to book tickets a long time in advance. The ferry to Mull leaves from Corran, which is very close, or from Oban if you want to go to Tobermory.
