Ty-Ucha Cottage

Ty-Ucha Cottage is just outside Llangollen. It's a semi-detached stone cottage, fairly small and old. It's for two people.

You walk straight into the living room, which has the kitchen and a wood burner in one open space. The bathroom is on this floor too. The stairs go up to one bedroom. The bed's up there. The views from the front are over fields.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-kept. It's old, so mind your head on some of the beams. The garden is enclosed, with a patio and a barbecue. There's parking right outside.

You're a couple of miles from Llangollen town centre. It's a busy little town with a few shops and places to eat. The main things are the steam railway and Plas Newydd, which has the gardens. The famous thing is the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which is about ten minutes away by car. You can walk across it.

For bigger walks, you're on the edge of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley. It's good walking country. Chirk Castle and Erddig are both National Trust properties within half an hour's drive. Chester is about forty minutes away if you want a day out at the zoo or the shops.

In the cottage, there's WiFi, a TV, and the wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
