West View is on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare. It's a modern lodge. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, sleeps four.
The place is detached. You get the garden and the veranda to yourselves. It’s on one level inside, which some people like. Everything’s open plan.
It’s got a 4-star rating. That means it’s comfortable and well fitted out. The master bedroom has doors straight out onto the veranda. The twin beds can be zipped together for another double.
There’s a washing machine in a separate utility room. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site. You can charge an electric car too.
One thing to know: the lodge is next to the railway line. You’ll hear trains going by.
Also, there’s a small unfenced pond right next to the veranda. Something to be aware of if you’ve got small children.
The owner lives nearby if you need anything.
The beach is about a mile away. The town has the usual seafront things: the Grand Pier, shops, places to eat.
Within about half an hour you can get to the Mendip Hills for walking. Cheddar Gorge is there. Bristol is about 25 minutes south if you want a city day. You can also get to Brean Down and the Clevedon coast easily. Bath is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes.
