Blackberry Lodge is over at Yolland House, just outside Ashburton. It's a single-storey, detached place so everything's on one level. It's a 4 Star property.
Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both have their own bathrooms. One has a shower, the other has a roll-top bath with a handheld shower head. The main bed can split into two singles if you ask beforehand.
The living area has a wood burner and high ceilings so it feels quite spacious. There's a smart TV and WiFi. The kitchen's well-equipped and there's a utility bit with a washing machine.
Outside there's a raised decking area with a barbecue. It overlooks a large pond, so you get ducks and coots going by. It's peaceful. The owners live across the courtyard but you wouldn't know it.
Ashburton's a small town about a five minute drive. It's got good independent shops and a few decent pubs. You're right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park here, so walking is on the doorstep.
Within half an hour you can get to the coast at Teignmouth or Torquay. Totnes and Dartington are close. If you need a bigger city, Exeter and Plymouth are both about a 40 minute drive.
Facilities wise: parking is on site, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair available. No pets.
