Southbourne Grove House was a hotel which has been transformed into a funky property with 11 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a large dining room, two comfortable living rooms and a conservatory. This makes it the ideal home for your special celebration whether this is a wedding anniversary, birthday party or a business group. The owners live on-site, they will not disturb you but are on hand to meet you on arrival. There is an enclosed garden with a patio area and a lawned area with seating, perfect for enjoying the afternoon sunshine. There is a kitchen with basic appliances to cook a light meal, there is a range cooker, a microwave, fridge freezer and an ice machine. Outside the kitchen is a tea and coffee making area, with an additional fridge. Next door is the incredible dining room with room to seat 21 at the dining table, the art and decorations in the room are incredible and there is a chess board set up in the corner.
There is a beautiful living room at the front of the property perfect for an evening game or a drink, at the back of the property there is a second living room with a large tv, Xbox and Wii with a variety of games. In the conservatory there is a selection of fancy-dress items for your use and amusement. The bedrooms are spread across the three floors with four ground floor bedrooms, one on the first floor and six bedrooms on the second floor. Most rooms have an ensuite, for the ones that don’t there is a family bathroom located on the same floor.
Southbourne Grove House is ideally located with a convenience store and takeaways just across the road and the high street is just around the corner with a variety of restaurants, bars, shops and cafes which serve breakfast. Southbourne beach is ½ a mile away with its gorgeous stretch of sandy beach and view across to the Isle of Wight and The Purbecks. There are numerous places you can visit nearby including Hengistbury Head which is an area of Scientific Interest due to its wildlife. Christchurch with its weekly market, independent shops, beautiful harbour and is home to one of the longest parish churches in the country. Bournemouth is within easy reach with its high street of shops, frequent events, escape rooms, cinema, theatre, clubs and many eateries.
The New Forest is well worth a visit with its free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys. It is an excellent place to go walking and cycling. At Moors Valley you can visit go ape and with its tree top trail. The New Forest Water Park has a giant inflatable obstacle course on the water as well as a variety of water sports to try. Some of the nearby days out include Beaulieu Motor Museum, The Heavy Horse Farm, The Aviation Museum, The Oceanarium, Highcliffe Castle, Hurst Castle, National Trusts Brown Sea Island and so much more!
