Harbour View Poole, is at the end-terraced cottage right next to Poole Harbour and in walking distance from a whole host of shops, pubs, and restaurants at your fingertips. There is a fenced and padlocked space for storing bicycles or surf boards. Space for one car parked near the entrance door in private area behind the property. Poole is a busy hub for holiday makers it offers a selection of supermarkets to stock up on goods, independent shops in a shopping arcade, popular Olde-Worlde local pubs on the Quay, excellent restaurants and more!
Sandbanks is also home to Rick Stein’s Restaurant, which enjoys unspoilt views of the harbour and Brownsea Island; here you can sample a great selection of seafood dishes.
In nearby Poole Park there’s a boating lake where you might take surfing lessons, in town the Lighthouse theatre/cinema/concert hall, and various leisure and adventure centres dotted around. Plenty of opportunities for guests to try watersports at the harbour including surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, jet skiing, or enjoy a relaxing day at the nearby Sandbanks Beaches.
Hop on a boat over to Brownsea Island, famous for its red squirrels and wildlife lagoon, Open Air Theatre in summer with woodlands and lakes to explore.
There are many of visitor attractions in this area, with the ’Isle of Purbeck’ providing access to Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Corfe Castle along with popular National Trust areas for walking. Cross the ferry to Studland Bay for National Trust trails across Ballard Down, where you might sit on top of Old Harry Rocks. Beach 3½ miles. Pub and restaurant ½ mile.
