‘Chynance, ’ Cornish for ‘House in the valley’, is a remarkable and beautiful Victorian apartment within a historic building. It has been recently lovingly restored in keeping with its original charm and heritage. Chynance is located within the village of Porthcurno, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just a short walk from the beach that has been classed as one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK. The area is also home to the world famous and iconic open-air Minack Theatre, carved into the granite cliffs and overlooking Porthcurno Bay, offering not only spectacular views but the rare opportunity to experience a performance between March and October like no other, including if you are really lucky dolphins swimming in the bay.
