The Steading
The Steading is on our farm, near Dun. It's about four miles from Montrose town centre. The views from up here are good, looking out towards Montrose Basin.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so it's done to a high standard. The conversion kept some of the old stonework. It's all one level inside, which is handy.
There's a private hot tub on the patio. The garden is yours to use. You're welcome to walk around the farm tracks. It's quiet.
The nearest shop and a pub are about two miles away. Montrose has a sandy beach, a golf course, and a leisure centre. For a bigger beach, Lunan Bay is about fifteen minutes by car. St Cyrus is a bit further.
Montrose Basin is a nature reserve. You get thousands of geese there in the winter. It's a proper spectacle. The Angus Glens are inland for walking. Dundee and Aberdeen are both around forty minutes' drive if you need a city.
What's here: Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, woodburning stove. Bedding and towels are included. On-site parking. You can bring two dogs.
