Ivy Cottage
Ivy Cottage is in Montrose, on a quiet street near the edge of town. It's attached to our place but has its own front door. You get your own little patio area out the back.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom down. Everything's modern inside, it's comfortable and clean. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The beach is about ten minutes' walk. It's a long, sandy one. There's a play park for kids and two golf courses on the links. The town centre with shops and places to eat is a five minute walk. The local pub is a few hundred yards up the road.
You're right by the Montrose Basin. The Wildlife Centre there is good. In autumn you'll see huge flocks of geese coming in. There's a good network of cycle paths around the area if you've brought bikes.
For driving out, the Angus Glens like Glen Esk and Glen Clova are about half an hour inland. They're good for walks. Along the coast, Arbroath is about 20 minutes south and Aberdeen is around 45 minutes north.
What's here: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. We can provide a cot. Regrettably, we don't allow pets despite saying so in the listing.
