Ivy Cottage
Ivy Cottage is on a quiet street in Montrose. It's attached to our house but you've got your own front door and a little patio area out the back.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, we redid it a few years ago. Everything works.
The stairs are a bit twisty. Just so you know.
It's about a ten minute walk into the town centre. There's a shop even closer. The pub's about five minutes away, they do decent food. The beach is good, a nice stretch of sand. It's less than a mile down the road.
Montrose Basin is right there. The Scottish Wildlife Trust runs a visitor centre. In autumn, you'll see and hear thousands of geese coming in. It's something else.
If you like walking, the Angus Glens aren't far. Glenesk is the closest, maybe twenty minutes by car. For a proper day out, Dundee or Aberdeen are about an hour's drive either way. Dundee has the V&A Museum and the RRS Discovery. Aberdeen is bigger for shopping.
What's here: parking for one car, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. The bedding and towels are included. We can leave a travel cot if you need one. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
